Arming (Button One)
The alarm may be armed three different ways:
1. Remote control with chirp: Press button 1
of the remote control to arm with an audible confirmation (one
chirp) and one flash of parking lights.
2. Remote control no chirp: Briefly press
button 2 of the remote control before pressing button 1 to arm
silently (light flash confirmation, no chirp).
3. Automatic passive arming: 30 seconds after
all doors are closed, the system will arm automatically (one chirp
and one flash).
Note: Passive arming is a selectable feature
that may be turned ON or OFF by your alarm dealer/installer.
Disarming (Button One)
The alarm may be disarmed two different ways:
1. Remote control with chirp: Press button 1
of the remote control to disarm with usual audible confirmation and
flashes (2 chirps).
2. Remote control no chirp: Briefly press
button 2 of the remote control before pressing button 1 to disarm
silently (no chirp, light flash).
Button Two
Remote Trunk Pop: Hold down button 2 for two or more seconds for
trunk pop option.
Channel Three (Button Three)
Press for 2 seconds for output to operate optional equipment. Press
for 1/2 second for 2nd car operation.
Buttons 1 and 2 (Simultaneously)
This will turn off the shock sensor. Confirmation by two chirps.
Pressing buttons 1 and 2 again will turn shock sensor back on and
this will be confirmed by 1 chirp.
Buttons 2 and 3 (Simultaneously)
Last door arming cancel (0.5 sec. pressing : one time only. To
confirm this, the siren will emit three chirps). Must be in disarm
mode to program this feature.
Panic Feature (For Your Personal
Safety)
The alarm system may be triggered via the remote control. Simply
press button 1 until alarm siren sounds (approx. 3-5 seconds), then
release. When the panic feature is activated, the alarm will sound
for a complete 45-second cycle. Pressing button 1 a second time will
turn off the panic feature. For your personal safety, the panic
feature will operate even when the alarm system is in the valet
mode. |
